Currently, we have a need for several more players down at the Miss Basketball Shootout in Kearney, NE. Dakota Wesleyan - 1 Team; we can definitely take a 2nd team if more people sign up.
Augustana - 2 Teams; will take a 3rd team if more sign up.
Southwest MN Shootout - 1 Team; need 8-10 more for a 2nd team.

Basically, there is room in almost all the team camps for more players. The session times are 8:00-9:15 or 9:30-10:45 at RHS. The dates and days are June 4-August 2 held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Deadline to register is June 1. Fee is $125. Contact Sanford POWER at 605-328-1660 with specific questions.

Please fill out the attached Summer Intent Sheet and submit it to Coach Clark as soon as possible. This sheet allows us to organize teams for the summer quickly and also allows parents to see the large number of opportunities available for the players. Summer Jam and RHS registration sheets are also attached. A brief run down of our summer schedule is -

Summer Jam Summer League – Starts week of June 4th and games are Wednesdays.
Miss BB Shootout; Kearney, NE – June 9-10Individual Camp - June 11-14
Dakota Wesleyan Team Camp; Mitchell, SD – June 16-17.
Augustana Team Camp – June 21-23.
Southwest Minnesota Shootout; Luverne, MN – July 27-28.

It's that time of year again, when we get the opportunity to help out our program tremendously through the Dakota Showcase basketball tournament. Every year, we are allowed to organize the clock and book keeping positions for the games in return for a sizable contribution to our basketball program. So, please take a look at the attached PDF file to see what available time slots you can fill. It will be held at Augustana College again this year so don't forget to bring a stocking-cap.

Please contact Coach Lanham at anthony.lanham@k12.sd.us to inform him of your availability. You might work 2 games or maybe 22 games. Either way, you get so see some great boys and girls basketball, and your efforts support our team. Anyone can help; even if you don't know how to do it...we offer free training! All they ask is that high school students are not running the tables.
